Jordak Elementary School students practice some of the karate moves they learned from Munson Karate Institute instructors during physical education class.

Karate comes to Jordak

Students from A.J. Jordak Elementary School were given a wonderful opportunity this week. Mr. James Stuber and Mr. Wayne Guest, both instructors from the Munson Karate Institute, taught students during Miss Sara Ely's physical education classes.

Students and members of Cardinal's junior class prom committee have been earning free cash by participating in the FundingFactory Recycling Program. Brad Mast surprised his younger brother and sister at Jordak Elementary School on Jan. 10. He has been serving in Iraq since early summer and is currently home on leave. He is set to return overseas after a few weeks of relaxation.
