Kindergarten registration

The Chagrin Falls School District's kindergarten registration will be held for students entering kindergarten in the Chagrin Falls School District on Feb. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Gurney School, 1155 Bell Road. Both half-day kindergarten and full day kindergarten are offered at Gurney.

7th-graders complete discrimination unit

Students in Mrs. Jessica Johnson's seventh-grade language arts classes recently completed their second novel unit focusing on the theme of discrimination. Students were able to select either the novel "Trouble Don't Last" written by Shelley Pearsall or "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" by John Boyne.
