Boosters Chinese auction
Cardinal Athletic Boosters will be holding its fourth annual Chinese auction Aug. 21 at Cardinal Middle School. Doors open at 3 p.m. and drawings begin at 5 p.m.

Chicken and duck dinner
DTJ Taborville is serving a chicken and duck dinner on Aug. 22 from noon to 2 p.m. The cost is $10.50 for an adult dinner and $5.50 for a children's chicken dinner. A half duck dinner is $15.50. Dinner includes dumplings, sauerkraut, homemade doughnut and coffee.
