Parent teacher conferences will be held Oct. 14. Dismissal time will be 12:30 p.m. for the middle school and 1:45 p.m. for the elementary school. Welcome back!

Tuesday was a big day for Ledgemont Local students as classes began for the 2010-2011 school year.

The week has gone smoothly and students are settling into their daily routines nicely. Several improvements were made to the buildings over the summer including the replacement of many ceiling tiles, sidewalks and windows.

The Ledgemont Local School District is preparing for the return of students and staff on Aug. 24. We are excited to begin another school year.

Lunch prices will remain the same as last year; $1.75 for grades K-6, $2 for middle school and $2.25 for high school.

Aaron Hope Scholarship

The staff of the Ledgemont Arrow deeply regret the omission in our July newsletter of an award presented to Stephanie Lynn Ziegler. She received the Aaron Hope Scholarship, given annually in his memory by Mr. and Mrs. John Hope, members Thompson and Montville snowmobile groups and friends of Aaron.
