Geauga Consumer Connection
Geauga Consumer Connection will be held May 8 from 4-7:30 p.m. at the Middlefield Market on Nauvoo Road.
Vendor registration is taking place now. There is a discount offered to vendors that register before March 15.
Call the Middlefield Chamber of Commerce at 440-632-5705 for registration details. If no answer, leave one's name and phone number for a call back.
The purpose of the event is to give consumers the opportunity to meet Geauga County business owners, ask questions, compare products and find out more about services available.
The show is free to attending consumers.
Grange Chili Cook-Off, Auction
The annual Huntsburg Grange Chili Cook-Off and Chinese auction is March 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Huntsburg gym behind the fire station. Parking is available behind the old elementary school.
Buy a chili sampler pack for $3 and one vote for your favorite entry.
The event also features free St. Patrick's cake with the famous Grange secret recipe frosting, a Chinese auction drawing starting at 2 p.m., live music by Bob Stanek, checkers tournament, cake walk, handmade afghan raffle, 50/50 raffle and local vendors show. Visitors may order their memorial bricks for $45 with installation in the Memorial Park sidewalk.
The fund-raising event is generously sponsored by Rustic Pathways, Tim Frank Septic Services, Rolling Green Golf Club, Vista Hearing Center, all from Huntsburg. Please come out and have lunch, fun and help raise funds for future community-minded projects.
Seder Dinner
Huntsburg Congregational Church is holding a Seder dinner on Maundy Thursday, March 28, at 6 p.m. at 12435 Madison Road. Reservations are needed for the dinner by calling 440-636-5404.
The church needs to have an accurate count for dinner, so please leave name, phone number and the number of people attending.
