Sophomore Brian Dolence recently joined more than 45,000 other Boy Scouts from all 50 states and 26 countries at the 100th year birthday celebration for the Boy Scouts of America. The National Jamboree was held at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia.

Back to school supply sale

The Newbury Elementary PTO is again sponsoring its Back to School Supply Sale Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Newbury High School cafeteria.
