The Rubber Band Contest

Five fifth-grade students submitted inventions to University of Akron's Rubber Band Contest: Bree Zedar, Sam Smucny, Henry Martin, Zach Corkwell and Peter Fabe. Students were asked to create a design that demonstrates their creativity and ingenuity and where the invention incorporated the use of rubber bands.

NDES celebrates Catholic Schools Week

Notre Dame Elementary School celebrated Catholic Schools Week Feb. 1-5. During the week, the children focused on their appreciation for parents, teachers, parish priests, the community and Notre Dame Elementary School.
