Mark L. Rickard, a lifelong Chardon resident, died Dec. 3, 2012, at Lake West Hospital. He was 63.
Born Feb. 10, 1949, in Cleveland to C. Lewis and Floy (nee Mordoff) Rickard, he worked at the family bakery in Chardon until it closed. He then became an adult service worker for the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Mark is survived by his father, C. Lewis Rickard of Chardon; sister, Robin (Tom) Flyer of Chardon; and nephew, Matthew (Lynn) Flyer of High Point, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Floy.
Visitation is Dec. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A private family burial will take place at North Chardon Cemetery.
