Charles E. Boyles, of West Farmington, died Nov. 14, 2012, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center. He was 79.
Born July 7, 1933 to Doy and Josephine (nee Bragg) Boyles, he had been a longtime Chardon resident before moving to West Farmington six years ago.
Charles retired as an overhead crane operator at Caterpillar in Mentor.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Lynn) Boyles of West Farmington, Robert (Patricia) and Kenneth Warne and Terry Nardi; grandchildren, Justin Boyles of West Farmington and Brandie (Frank) Blankenship of West Farmington, Laura Cochrane, Jacquelyn (Carey) Burnett, Denise Warne and Sarah Warne, Christopher and Amanda Gause; and great-grandchildren, Madison Blankenship and Logan Trendle, Chase and Lucas Cochrane, Remington and Kingslee Burnett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 20 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Nov. 19 at the funeral home.
