Joann M. (nee Adamic) Modic, of Hambden Township, a homemaker, died Jan. 31, 2013, at her home. She was 58.
Born Aug. 5, 1954, she lived in Hambden since 1987.
She was a member of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon.
Joann is survived by her husband, Doug Modic, whom she married Oct. 17, 1987, in Chardon; sons, Douglas (Sarah) Modic, Dale and Dustin Modic; sisters, Kathy McDonnell and Patricia Adamic; and AJ, Gene, Dale, Cindy, Allen and Tiffany Adamic.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 8 at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon.
Visitation is Feb. 7 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
