Robert George Fadeley, of Newbury Township, died Dec. 11, 2012, at Heather Hill Healthcare Center in Munson Township. He was 62.
Born Aug. 24, 1950, to the late James F. and Mary A. (nee Yunk) Fadeley, he was a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident.
For 33 years, he was a report writer for AT&T in Cleveland.
He has been very active in community theaters in Lake, Geauga and Cuyahoga counties for more than 40 years.
Robert was an amateur filmmaker, a “Gateman” at The Great Geauga County Fair for the last 17 years and really enjoyed doing food demonstrations at area Giant Eagle stores.
For the last 10 years, he was a “Standardized Patient” at Ohio University Medical School and the Cleveland Clinic, and an active character at “Halloweekends” at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn J. (nee Zamer) Fadeley of Newbury whom he married Sept. 8, 1973; sons, John and David, both of Newbury, and Kenneth of Streetsboro; brother, Tom (Amy) Fadeley of Twinsburg; and sister, Diane (Don) Carducci of Grove City.
The family will receive friends Dec. 14 from 5-8 p.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
Funeral services will be held Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 5525 Harper Road, Solon.
The family requests donations to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Claire Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
