Betty Jane (nee Funk) Seufer, of Munson Township, died Jan. 31, 2013, at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg Township. She was 94.
Born Jan. 1, 1919, in Cleveland, she married Frank Seufer and moved to Geauga County in 1949.
She enjoyed crocheting and other crafts. She was known as the “Cookie Grandma” to her grandchildren and the neighborhood children.
She is survived by her children, Ken (Helen) Seufer of Chardon Township, Sue Rose of Middlefield, Frank (Sandra) Seufer Jr. of Chardon Township, Dale (Vicki) Seufer of Concord Township and Lee (Debbie) Seufer of Munson Township; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and brother Paul Funk of Kirtland.
Her husband, Frank, preceded her in death in 1993.
Mrs. Seufer’s other three brothers and two sisters are also deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Feb. 4 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday.
