Rebecca Brownlee, of Hiram, died Sept. 16, 2012, in Hiram Township. She was 23.
Born June 8, 1989, in Cleveland, she was a lifelong area resident.
A college student at Kent Geauga, she also worked as a server at Alley’s Grille in Middlefield and hostess at Welshfield Inn.
Becca liked to work, study and play.
She is survived by her parents, Chris and Deborah (nee Hakes) Brownlee of Troy Township; sister, Samantha Brownlee of Troy Township; grandparents, Donna Brownlee of Burton, and Rev. George F. and Louise (nee Boecher) Fyler III of Huntington, W.Va.; and aunts, uncles and cousins, including Ruth (Dan) DeMastry of Concord.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Rev. Hugh Brownlee and Rev. Joseph Hakes; aunt, Martha (nee Fyler) Amos; and uncle, Marcus Brownlee.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 20 at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Chardon. Rev. Chris McCann of the church will officiate.
Burial will be in the St. Luke Columbarium.
