John G. Rozic Jr., of Avon Lake, Ohio, died Dec. 11, 2012. He was 73.
Born June 30, 1939, in Lorain to John G. and Irene (nee Sazbo) Rozic Sr., he was a lifelong area resident.
John worked at the Ford Motor Co. Lorain Plant, retiring in 1999. His joys included reading, philanthropic activities with the Salvation Army and the Lake County Humane Society.
His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
John is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Chris) France of Shaker Heights; son, Greg of Shelton, Conn.; and grandson, Andrew France of Shaker Heights.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Rozic; and sister, Norma Rozic.
Memorial services will be held at 11a.m. Dec. 22. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
