James Lee Peairs passed away on Dec. 2, 2012, after having complications from a stroke. He was 64 years old and resided in Franklin, Tenn., for the last 15 years.
James was born in Chardon and grew up in Middlefield. He received his master’s degree in engineering from Youngstown State University.
James worked for Republic Steel until 1997 and then moved to Franklin, Tenn., to work for Ceco Door’s/ Assa Abloy as a business development manager-international sales. He traveled all over the world and worked until the time of his illness.
He loved working in his garden and taking care of his beloved dogs, Jesse, Rosie and Cody.
James is survived by Linda Peairs, his wife, of Franklin; and his daughter, Michelle Peairs and Eric Klabe, of Phoenix. He is also survived by his mother, Alberta Peairs, of Middlefield.
James was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Peairs, of Middlefield; and his two brothers, Larry Peairs and William Peairs, both of Middlefield.
