Michele Ann Peace, of Chardon, died Nov. 9, 2012. She was 47.
Born in Olean, N.Y., on Sept. 6, 1965, she was a Chardon-area resident since 1990. She previously lived in Willoughby and Olean.
Michele was a self-employed certified public accountant since 1996. She had also worked for Eltech in Chardon and the former Arthur Anderson Company.
Michele A. Krahe married David H. Peace in Olean on Dec. 28, 1985.
She was a member of the Church of St. Mary, Chardon, where she was active in Liturgy, Friendship Breakfast and the Bereavement Ministries.
She also served as a board member of the Chardon Schools Foundation and president of WIN (Women in Networking) Cleveland. She volunteered and participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk for many years.
Michele enjoyed scrap-booking, cooking, travel, skiing and being outdoors. She was a graduate of Olean High School, Class of 1983 and of Cleveland State University, bachelor's degree in accounting, Class of 1988.
Michele is survived by her husband, David H. Peace of Chardon; sons, Eric, student and U.S. Army ROTC Cadet at the University of Notre Dame, and Benjamin, student at the University of Dayton; parents, David and Irene (nee Skrzypczak) Krahe of Olean; parents in law, Russel and Kathleen Peace of Portville, N.Y.; sisters, Mary Krahe of University Heights, Meme (Tommy) Yanetsko of Olean and Marcy Tyler of University Heights; brother, Michael (Pam) Krahe of Brockport, N.Y.; sister in law, Sondra (Bill) Kosinski of Bainbridge Township; brothers in law, Greg Peace of Ohio City, Dan (Chris) Peace of Huntsburg Township; nieces, Megan, Melanie, Ashley, Mackenzie, Kayla and Allison; nephews, Billy, Jeffrey and Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Matthew J.M. Krahe and Mark Krahe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 14 at The Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon Rev. Dan Redmond will officiate.
Visitation is Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
Burial will take place in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
