John F. Paliyan, age 66, has passed away.
John was the husband of Evy Neufeld Paliyan, PhD of Strongsville; brother of Barbara (Jerry) Pollack of Munson Township; uncle of Jeff Pollack of Munson and Diane Pollack of Munson; and great-uncle of Evan and Ryan Pollack of Munson.
He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
John was the son of the late John F. and Jennie J. (nee Haberek) Paliyan.
John proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 18 at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North St., Chardon.
Visitation was Friday, 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
John will be sorely missed by his family and many beloved pets.
