Wayne A. Snyder, of Willoughby, died Dec. 26, 2012, at Lake West Hospital. He was 71.
Born Apr. 25, 1941, in Painesville to Buck and Irene (nee Loveland) Snyder, he has been a longtime area resident.
Wayne retired from Local 17 Iron Worker’s Union in Cleveland.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine Haines of Eastlake; son, Nick of Mentor-on-the-Lake; sister, Carol (Bill) Zook of Mentor; brother, Larry of Wickliffe; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Carolyn (nee Mucci) Snyder.
A Celebration of Life will be held Jan. 20, 2013, from 2-6 p.m. at the Eastlake Community Center, 600 East 349th St., Eastlake. For any questions regarding services, please contact the family.
