Jean M. (nee Hornik) Crow, of Chardon, died Dec. 21, 2012, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center. She was 78.
Born Jan. 20, 1934, in Cleveland, Mrs. Crow was an avid reader and loved to cook.
She lived for her family.
Jean was the wife of the late Melvin M. Crow.
She is survived by her children, Rick Crow of Cleveland, Ron (Dorothy) Crow of West Farmington, Russell Crow of Burton and Raene (John Shaffer) Holbert of Chardon.
Mrs. Crow is also the grandmother of Bryan Crow, Brad (Andrea) Crow and Tanya Crow, Stephanie, Billie and Kenny Crow; and great-grandmother of seven.
Her siblings, John and Andrew Hornik, and Julia Kowalski are also deceased.
Private family services were held.
