Gregory R. Schmidt, of Munson Township, died March 9, 2013, at home. He was 20.
Born Jan. 22, 1993, in Newport News, Va., to Dr. Dennis and Anne (nee Forbes) Schmidt, Greg lived in the Chardon area since 2002.
He is survived by his parents; uncles, Jack Schmidt of Chardon, Melvin (Lynn) Forbes of Chardon, David (Virginia) Forbes of Mentor and Wayne Forbes of Painesville; and cousins, Ryan (Nicole), Whitney, Eric and Andrew Forbes.
Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Alice (nee Brennan) Schmidt, and Dr. Melvin and Mary (nee Patton) Forbes.
Visitation will be held March 13 from 5-8 p.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. March 14 at Trinity Cathedral, 2230 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. (Parking is on Prospect).
Interment will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery, corner of Auburn and Butternut roads, in Munson.
