Collection For Biblioburro
Students at St. Helen School heard a presentation given by Sister Dolores Mikula, a graduate of St. Helen's, NDCL and Notre Dame College, speak about her missionary work in Nicaragua. Sr. Dolores asked the students to help her buy books that can be used by the "biblioburro," a bookmobile on a donkey that brings Spanish library books to children of her village.
The children collected over $200 to purchase about 25 books for the biblioburro.
