KSU Geauga Campus hosts local teachers on NEOEA Day Professors at the Kent State University Geauga Campus in Burton hosted a program for area teachers on NEOEA Day, Oct. 17. Teachers from local schools came to the Kent Geauga Campus to attend the program entitled, ÒA Skills Sampler: From Technology to History to Science to Art." The group participated in two sessions: technology and history. Judy Bilman, Lecturer Computer Technology, worked with the teachers on their PowerPoint presentations and Molly Sergi, Lecturer History, discussed historical sites and famous people in Geauga County. The program ended with discussions about issues facing teachers in schools and brainstormed ideas for next year's NEOEA Day adventures. Teachers attending the program came from several area schools, including Darcy Peacock, The Montessori School at Holy Rosary; Sharon Argento and Diane Havice, Cardinal Local Schools; and Shelby Kaminski, Ledgemont Local Schools.
