David Sprenger, a seventh-grade student at West Geauga Middle School, is the 2012 West Geauga School District Spelling Bee Champion.

David is the son of Richard and Jackie Sprenger of Chesterland and enjoys swimming, cooking and traveling with his family. His favorite subjects are science and health.

"No-new-taxes" renewal levy

The West Geauga Board of Education has placed Issue 7, a no-new-taxes renewal levy, on the ballot for the March 6 election.
