Breeders and Feeders
The next meeting is Feb. 23 in Munson. Poultry will begin at 2:30 p.m., rabbits and pigs at 3 p.m. and an all member meeting and Cloverbuds at 3:30 p.m. with beef following. There will be pizza before the group goes roller-skating from 5-7:30 p.m. in Chagrin Falls.
Members will also decorate bags for the Geauga County Department of Aging. Please bring crayons, markers and other colorful decorations.
The Soltus boys are selling candy bars for Relay for Life.
Reminder – turkey orders are due at this meeting and bring $5 per project book.
Upcoming dates include: March 1 – turkey orders due; April 13 – turkey care meeting at 2:30 p.m. at school building; April 15 – chicken and duck orders due. Turkeys in this week; May 18 – showmanship clinic and fancy poultry; and July 9 – chickens in this week.

Geauga Caprine Kids
The Geauga Caprine Kids 4-H Club invites the public to come join for its 2014 club year. Geauga Caprine Kids is currently the longest running Honors Club in Geauga County. The club does many projects including goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs and rabbits. It also has many miscellaneous projects including photography, scrapbooking, cooking and sewing. It meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Huntsburg Township Hall. The meetings are always fun and everyone has a good time.
This year club members are making the most of its business meetings by utilizing committees during part of the meeting time, focusing on community service and education activities. Members also participate in a recreational activity that helps develop and nurture friendships. Each meeting ends with yummy snacks and conversation.
