At the club’s April meeting, pig members discussed that pig tagging will not be done at the fairgrounds. Instead they will tag them themselves and take a photo of their pig from the front and a side view of the pig with the tag number showing. The member must be in the photo. All photos of pigs must be turned into the Walkers before May 17.

Poultry members went over the importance of buyer letters. There is a fancy poultry show on June 14 in Canfield. Poultry members also received their books and went over some of the pages in them. They also discussed some of the diseases birds may get.

Rabbit members played a Jeopardy game about rabbits and Clover buds made picture frames and decorated cupcakes.

All members can go to geauga4h.com to practice for skillathon. May 10 is quality assurance at the Burton Fairgrounds.

The next meeting is May 18 at the Huntsburg Town Hall.
