Final Haunted Weekend

The Haunting of Hill House is a suspenseful story, adapted by F. Andrew Leslie and based on the 1959 novel by Shirley Jackson. Led by Dr. Montague, psychically receptive people come together at the evil Hill House mansion in hopes of learning about the house’s supernatural secrets.

Sponsored by H & R Block, performances will run through Nov. 3. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $8 for students 12 and under. Content is not recommended for children under 10.

GLTG Murder Mystery Dinner

The fourth annual murder mystery dinner fundraiser for Geauga Lyric Theater Guild, Mayhem & Murder at the Theater, will be held Nov. 9 at Quail Hollow Inn Resort in Painesville. The GLTG is a growing arts organization and provides community theater, along with classes for children and adults in the fine arts, which includes acting, dance, music and visual arts throughout the year.

Enjoy an evening of fun, raffles, games and an original murder mystery play by Angela Miloro-Hansen and directed by Patty Osredkar.

Tickets are $45 each or $80 per couple. Table sponsors are available for a table of 12 and include one program ad for the table and one drink ticket and six raffle tickets per person, for $600.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. Reservations are required by Nov. 1.

Dress appropriate for a night at the theater. There will be drawings, auctions and mystery boxes.
