The Haunting of Hill House Opens at GLTG Oct. 18
Geauga Lyric Theater Guild’s The Haunting of Hill House, a psychological thriller directed by D. Roger Dixon, opens this week at Geauga Theater. The suspenseful haunted house story, adapted by F. Andrew Leslie, is based on the 1959 novel by Shirley Jackson. Led by Dr. Montague, a small group of “psychically receptive” people come together at the evil Hill House mansion in hopes of learning about the house’s supernatural secrets.
During the run of the show, patrons can enjoy not only a night of haunting theater, but also a special art show in the lobby featuring eerie art. Audiences will have the unique opportunity to vote on their favorites in youth and adult divisions, with the winners announced Nov. 5.
Sponsored by H & R Block, performances will run through Nov. 3. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $8 for students 12 and under. Content is not recommended for children under 10. Season passes are still available and can save patrons approximately 20 percent off the regular ticket price.
For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.geaugatheater.org or call the box office at 440-286-2255.
The historic Geauga Theater is located at 101 Water St. in Chardon.
