Trick Or Treat
As its usual policy, Hambden Township follows what Chardon sets as its date for trick or treat. It will be held on Oct. 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Please be sure all of the little ghosts and goblins are careful when trick or treating on Hambden’s country roads. The developments seem like a much better option for gathering candy and having fun. Have a safe and scary Halloween.
Trunk Or Treat
Hambden Congregational Church is sponsoring a fun and safe alternative to traditional trick or treating. On Nov. 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the church is hosting a Trunk or Treat event.
A free event for the whole family, the church will be serving chili and hot dogs as well as treats from trunks.

The church is located at 13840 GAR Hwy., across from Hambden Elementary.
Thank You, Firefighters
It could not have been a worse night weather-wise, but Hambden firefighters stood out in the driving rain to serve a sold out clam bake to all of their friends and neighbors. The food was amazing as always. It was so nice to see so many people supporting the fire department at one of its most important fundraisers.
Too bad that it was the last one for the year because I know they could probably sell out another one. Thanks to everyone for their hard work and dedication.
Township Newsletters
Our fall edition of “Hambden Highlights” should be in the mail this week. It contains much information about what’s been happening in the township.
Residents can also learn more about township plans and projects by attending one of the trustee meetings. They are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the township hall. We always enjoy and appreciate our residents’ attendance and input.
