Live Nativity In Hambden

Hambden Congregational Church will be presenting a live Nativity Dec. 14 from 5-8 p.m.

Thank you to the dedicated congregation and Pastor Dove for once again giving the community the opportunity to witness the beauty and true meaning of the Christmas season.

Admission is free. The church is located on GAR Highway across from Hambden Elementary School.

Winter is Back

It’s official; residents can start plowing, shoveling and watching for school closings again.

Road Superintendent Dave Heald wishes to remind residents that when they plow their snow, they need to keep it on their property.

Do not plow out into the street. This practice makes it dangerous for other drivers and is against the law.

Furthermore, do not plow snow and dump it across the street. Doing so can block access to neighbors’ mailboxes.

When plowing driveways, residents are required to keep all snow removed on their property. It is not the easiest thing to do, but it is the safest. Thank you.

Christmas Tree Sale

Hambden Fire Department is selling beautiful, fresh cut Christmas trees. The lot is located next to the fire station on Route 608 and is open daily.

There is a beautiful selection this year and the fund-raiser supports the fire department.

Call the station nonemergency number 440-285-3329 for times and details.
