Munsonite Susan E. Petersen, of the law firm Petersen & Petersen, has been named to the list of Ohio’s Super Lawyers for 2014. This is the second year in a row that Ms. Petersen has received the honor. The Ohio Super Lawyers list names only 5 percent of lawyers in the state.

Fowlers Mill Christian Church, 10755 Mayfield Road, Munson, presents the first annual Women’s Conference with Kimberly Simms, women’s Bible teacher, on March 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Session 1 is contemporary worship and teaching followed by a lunch break and session 2, teaching.

Shutterbugs Camera Club
The Shutterbugs Camera Club will meet April 3, from 7-9 p.m., at the Geauga Park District’s West Woods Nature Center in Russell Township.
The monthly meetings are open to all ages of photography artists and include instructional sessions. Monthly assignments are voluntary and are exhibited during the meeting for everyone’s enjoyment and critiques. Call 440-286-9516 for more information.
Free Sunday Dinner
St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson, will offer a free Sunday dinner April 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Fellowship Room.
There will be a choice of soups, breads and desserts. Donations are not necessary, but are appreciated.

NDES Learning Fair
An evening of information and a tour of the classrooms of Notre Dame Elementary School, 13000 Auburn Goad, Munson, will be held from 6-9 p.m. April 9.
NDES offers classes in Chinese, Spanish, fine arts and technology and has a variety of clubs. School tours are also held the first Tuesday of every month at 9:30 a.m. or can be scheduled by appointment.

Good Tidings Benefit Choir
The Good Tidings Benefit Choir will present concerts April 12 at 7 p.m. and April 13 at 3 p.m. at the Notre Dame Chapel, 13000 Auburn Road in Munson. The ecumenical choir composed of high school students and adults will include the second and third sections of Handel’s “Messiah” in the concerts.
2014 marks the choir’s 25th anniversary. The concerts are free, but donations are appreciated with all proceeds benefiting the Geauga Hunger Task Force.

The 41st annual Senior Celebration will be held May 5, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Notre Dame Provincial Center, 13000 Auburn Road, Munson. The guest speaker will be Sister Melannie Svoboda whose topic “Celebrating God’s Preserve in Nature” will describe her everyday experiences of nature as mystical adventures.
The cost per person is $10, which includes lunch catered by Aladdin Food Service. Deadline for reservations is April 25.
