Munson’s Annual Flea Market
Table space rental is now available for the township’s annual outdoor flea market Sept. 6, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bass Lake Park, 12641 Bass Lake Road. Antiques, garage sale items and crafts will be sold.

At the Senior Center
The Good Times Band invites musicians to join them every Wednesday from 12:30-2 p.m. at the Chardon Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Munson. The band always has a good time and occasionally performs at the senior center.

The Solid Waste Management District will have an E-waste collection for electronic equipment at the Geauga County Engineer’s Yard, 12665 Merritt Road, Munson, July 26, from 9 a.m. to noon. Residents may drop off computers, printers and cell phones, but no television sets.
The service is offered to Geauga and Trumbull County residents; one may be asked for identification.

Free Sunday Dinner
St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson, will offer a free Sunday dinner on Aug. 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Fellowship Room. There will be a choice of soups, breads and desserts.
Donations are appreciated, but not necessary. To help prepare or serve the dinner, or for more information, call 440-285-4641.
With the Arts
The Geauga Council for Arts & Culture will hold a reception for artists and their families at the opening of the council’s ninth annual art show taking place Aug. 6 from 5-7 p.m. at Geauga West Library. Awards will be presented at the reception.
The event is free; refreshments served. The show continues daily during library hours through Aug. 15.
NAMI Peer Support Group
The Geauga County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will hold its next peer support group meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Geauga Board of Mental Health & Recovery, 13244 Ravenna Road in Munson.
The monthly meetings provide education, support and advocacy to those affected by mental illness and their families. Meetings are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

Shutterbugs Camera Club
The Shutterbugs Camera Club invites all photography enthusiasts to its next meeting, Aug. 7, from 7-9 p.m., at the Geauga Park District’s Sunnybrook Preserve Lodge. It will be the club’s annual picnic.
Bring table service and a dish to pass. Fireworks photos are welcome.
All ages of photographers are invited to the free monthly meetings. Registration is not required.

NDCL Golf Classic
Registrations are being accepted for the 2014 Notre Dame Cathedral Latin Golf Classic taking place Aug. 8 at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course in Munson. Shotgun start is at 9 a.m.,
Fee is $150 per player and includes four-person scramble, breakfast and lunch catered by Winking Lizard.
Proceeds benefit NDCL student scholarships.

Women’s Retreat at Bass Lake Preserve
The Geauga Park District will offer “Nature Break: Women’s Retreat” on Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bass Lake Preserve Lodge, 11445 Lakeview Drive, Munson.
There will be canoeing, yoga and recycled art projects. Bring a mat for yoga. Lunch provided by Zeppe’s of Newbury.
Fee is $6. Reservations required by calling 440-286-9516.
