Board Volunteers Sought
Munson residents interested in serving on the Park & Recreation Board or the Zoning Commission are urged to mail a letter of intent with complete resume to the attention of the Munson Board of Trustees, 12210 Auburn Road, Chardon, OH, 44024, no later than Dec. 20. Information can also be dropped off at the office, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At The Senior Center
Christmas dinner volunteers are needed to help deliver Christmas Day dinners to homebound senior citizens who will be alone Christmas Day. Dinners will be prepared and available for volunteers to pick up at the Chardon Multi-Purpose Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive in Munson. Lasting Christmas Gifts
The Geauga Soil & Water Conservation District (GSWCD) offers an unusual line of gifts that endure, all at reasonable prices. There are bird houses and feeders, rain barrels, butterfly houses and much more.
All proceeds benefit the GSWCD’s environmental education program. Visit the GSWCD at the Geauga County Fairgrounds, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Geauga County NAMI
Geauga County NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) will hold a peer support group meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Board of Mental Health & Recovery Services, 13244 Ravenna Road in Munson. The NAMI meetings provide education, support and advocacy to those affected by mental illness and their families.

Breakfast With The Clauses
Munson Township’s Park & Recreation Board will host its annual Breakfast With Santa and Mrs. Claus at the township hall Dec. 7, with servings at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 4-12. Children 3 and under are free. Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available at additional cost.

Pet Pictures With Santa
Bring one’s pet cat and/or dog for a memorable Christmas picture with Santa on Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Western Reserve Country Store, 12285 Ravenna Road in Munson.

Save The Date
Join the Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) for its annual Christmas celebration at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 17. at Heinen’s Cafe on Center Street in Chardon. There will be a holiday season sing-along with the popular Kindred Spirits Combo and stories shared of Christmases past. The evening’s host will be Joanne Durante.

Food Addicts in Recovery
Food Addicts in Recovery (FAIR) will meet Dec. 4 from 6:30-8 p.m. at St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road in Munson. FAIR offers support, nutritional information and encouragement to those who are seeking to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
