Wondrous Wednesdays

Federated Church, 76 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls, invites the community to enjoy a free meal and faith program on April 9 as part of Wondrous Wednesdays program. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall followed by a program at 6:45 p.m. Pastor Susi Kawolics and Thea Mozingo will facilitate a discussion of the book, “What Does the Lord Require?”

The meal is free. All are welcome, whether or not one has participated in the book groups.

Call the church at 440-247-6490 to R.S.V.P. by April 7. Childcare available upon request.

Museum in a Backpack

The biblically-based Akron Fossils & Science Center will be doing its presentation “Museum in a Backpack” at Chardon Baptist Church, 363 Wilson Mills Road, on April 6 at 6 p.m. for the closing rally of Bible Club.

All ages are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served following the program. Please RSVP to either 440-285-3757 or 440-635-0080.

Holy Week at New Promise

New Promise Church has scheduled its Holy Week services. All are welcome to come be part of this special time of the year. Childcare will be provided for nursery through preschool-aged children.

Palm Sunday, April 13: “Behold the Lamb,” a music presentation by the worship choir to experience the love, hope and joy this Easter season. Services are 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

Maundy Thursday, April 17: The 7 p.m. service will celebrate the Lord’s Supper in rooms of twelve.

Resurrection Sunday, April 20: Easter services at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
