Chester Christian Center A/G Church, 11815 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township, will be observing the Easter season starting with a Good Friday communion service at 7 p.m.

On Easter Sunday, celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with a morning worship service starting at 10:30 a.m.

There will be special music shared by the women’s and children’s choirs.

Holy Week at Federated

The Federated Church of Chagrin Falls, 76 Bell St., has scheduled its Holy Week services. All are welcome.

Maundy Thursday, April 17, 8 p.m. Tenebrae candlelight service. Childcare is available for infants through kindergarten. Special pre-service music begins at 7:30 p.m.

Good Friday, April 18: The church will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 1:30-6:30 p.m. All donors will receive coupon for a free Bruegger’s Bagel.

Easter Egg Hunt, April 19 at the Family Life Center, 16349 Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge. The morning begins at 10 to 11 a.m. with a free brunch and Easter box service project with egg coloring. Pastor Susi Kawolics will share the Easter story at 10:30 a.m.

Children will be divided into three age groups for the egg hunt: Toddlers to age 3, ages 47, and ages 811. Eggs will be hidden empty and treat bags given out after the egg hunt. Baskets will be provided or bring your own.

Easter Sunday, April 20: Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at the Family Life Center in Bainbridge. Enjoy a missions breakfast provided by GROUP, the senior high youth group. Freewill offerings will be accepted.

Worship services in Chagrin Falls will be at 9 a.m. with the ensemble choir and 11 a.m. with the chancel choir. A professional brass quintet will perform at both services.

The Shroud of Turin An Image of Jesus? April 23, 7 p.m.: David Onysko, an expert on the Shroud of Turin, will give his fascinating presentation on the mysteries surrounding this ancient linen cloth. Federated Church’s friends of the Labyrinth are sponsoring the free event.
