Missions Trip Info Meeting
Chardon United Methodist Church is holding an informational meeting regarding the two short-term mission trips to Guatemala in 2016 planned for Jan. 11 and June 20. The meeting is April 13 at 7 p.m. in the church atrium.
The teams will spend their week working in the orphanages. The approximate cost of the trip is $1,500 and there are many opportunities to raise funds to defray the cost.
Chardon UMC is located at 515 North St.
Easter Services
Chester Christian Center A/G Church, 11815 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township, will be observing the Easter season starting with a Good Friday communion service on April 3 at 7 p.m.
An Easter morning worship service will be celebrated April 5 at 10:30 a.m.
Holy Week Services
Holy Week services at Pilgrim Christian Church, 202 S. Hambden St., Chardon, will start with a community service from 12-3 p.m. on Good Friday in the sanctuary. At the end of the service, a prayer vigil will start and continue until noon on Saturday. Easter Sunday service will be at 10 a.m.
