Last Tuesday’s groundbreaking for the expansion of Rescue Village in Russell Township was enjoyed by Shelter Manager Ed Pashkin, Kat LoGrande and Esmeralda.
The $2.3 million building project will provide more space for more low cost spay and neuter services, increase kennel space, provide new kitten and puppy isolation and adoption areas, and allow treatment of animals with behavior or medical issues, according to Executive Director Hope Brustein.
Wielding shovels for the ceremony are, from left, Kristi Lynn, Russell Township Trustee Justin Madden, Brustein, Jan Glasser, and Nancy Rubin. Donations can be made online at www.rvcampaign.org.
