Can You Hear Me Now: May 9, 9:30 11:30 a.m. Holly’s Hearing Aid Center will provide free hearing screenings and hearing aid checks. Call 440-279-2137 for an appointment.

Healthcare Advocacy: May 12, 11 a.m. Marianne, from First Light Home Care, will share some ways to help seniors be their own healthcare advocate.

Podiatrist Appointments. Call 440-279-2137 to schedule a 1 p.m. appointment with Dr. Quercioli on May 14 or Dr. Ritz on May 22.

Diabetes Support Group: May 13, 12:30 p.m. Come learn and share ideas and tips to manage diabetes. Guest speaker will present a current health topic.

Tai Chi: Thursdays, 2:15-3:15 p.m. An alternative therapy that promotes the circulation of energy within the body in slow, gentle movements, Tai Chi helps to align the body and strengthen balance. It is great for arthritis relief.

Lunch and Learn: May 9. Come to Briar Hill in Middlefield to enjoy lunch while learning about the facility and rehabilitation. Bus departs the senior center at 11 a.m. and returns by 1:15 p.m.

Book Discussion: May 12, 1 p.m. Call the senior center for the current reading title and join the group for discussion at Geauga West Library in the Gilson Room.

Blood Pressure Screenings: May 13. Thanks to Blossom Hill Nursing Home, there will now be additional blood pressure screenings on the second Tuesday of each month.

Intergenerational Program: May 14, 11 a.m. St. Anselm first-grade students will visit and share the books they have written.

Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP

The Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP 4527 will hold its meeting and annual spaghetti lunch catered by Cafe Michael’s on May 13 at 1 p.m. at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge Township. Reservations are required; call Betty Scholz at 440-338-8321.
