Visit to Spire Institute: July 25, 10 a.m. Trip to Spire Institute, a U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site in Geneva. The group will tour the facility and play a game of chair volleyball on the Spire team court. Enjoy lunch on one’s own at Spire Fuel. Fee of $10 (cash) will help the senior center cover the transportation and court rental fees. Call 440-279-2137 to register.

Fun with Technology: July 30, 10:30 a.m. New technology and tips for today’s tech savvy senior and smart phone users will be covered. Class is open to anyone wanting to know more. Stop in or call for more information and/or lunch.

Tai Chi: Thursdays, 2:153:15 p.m. An alternative therapy that promotes the circulation of energy within the body in slow, gentle movements, tai chi helps to align the body and strengthen balance, making every day basic tasks easier. It is great for arthritis relief.

What is Reflexology?: July 24, 11 a.m. A free presentation by Partners to Empowerment Wellness Center, learn how to take care of oneself and find out what alternative treatments can do. Learn about rain bath and hot stone therapies. Call to register.

Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP

The Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP 4527 will meet at 1 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road.

The program includes a performance by the Golden Oldies, a senior singing group. The event is free; come find out what AARP is all about.

The next scheduled trip is to Seneca Niagara Casino in New York on Aug. 20. There is a stand-by list for the trip.

Upcoming trips include a trip to the Meadows Casino in Pennsylvania on Sept. 17 and to Seneca Allegheny Casino in New York in October.
