Celebrate Life: Past, Present and Future: Aug. 12, 11 a.m. UH Geauga Medical Center will present “What’s Up, Doc?” Seniors will learn ways to communicate effectively with their doctors.
Best Solutions Home Medical Supplies: Aug. 12, 12:30 p.m. An educational and hands-on opportunity to find out all about medical equipment, products and supplies will be given. There will be refreshments, samples and door prizes.

Learning for a Lifetime
The seventh annual Learning for a Lifetime will be held at Kent State University Geauga Campus in Burton on Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sponsored by The Geauga County Department on Aging, University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and KSU Geauga, the event provides Geauga County seniors with the opportunity to “go back to school.”
The $12 cost includes a continental breakfast, choice of three classes and boxed lunch prepared by Sun Valley Party Center. Deadline to register is Aug. 11 unless the maximum number is reached before then. Class sizes are limited.
Registration forms are available at all of the Geauga County senior centers and local libraries. To have one mailed and get a list of classes offered, call Becky at 440-279-2131.
