The following is a sampling of the calls handled by the Geauga County Sheriffs Office Oct. 25-31. In total, the sheriffs office handled 434 calls during this seven-day period.
1:21 p.m., Aquilla Road, Claridon. Brown cow walking up Aquilla Road, north of 322.
4:25 a.m., Chardon Windsor Road, Hambden. Loose horse in area. Just found him in my garage eating dog food and now northbound on roadway from my residence. Checked area. UTL/GOA.
3:09 p.m., Main Market Road, Troy. Older model pick up left Blazzin Bills westbound on 422. Couple appears to be on drugs. Male kept dropping his head in his food and sucking his thumb. Male was with a female, both in late 30s, waitress said the female didnt seem right either. BBPD advised.
8:27 p.m., Cloverdale Drive, Middlefield. Someone continues to knock on my door and when I answer no one is there. Spoke with complainant, knocking occurred twice, about 15 minutes apart. Hasnt happened since she called police. Deputy sat in the area for several minutes and did not observe anything.
5:23 p.m., Nicki Lane, Hambden. Suspect driving a green Escape was in the trailer park. He is a registered offender and the complainant believes a young female was with him. They think he is going to the store and will be coming back. Male returned to location and was advised by management not to return to mobile community. If male returns, he may be subject to arrest for trespassing. No crime at this time. Female in question has permission from mother to be with male.
3:57 p.m., Old State Road, Hambden. Person throwing beer bottles out of car window. LCSO advised.
11:27 a.m., Farmington Road, Parkman. Meet at Parkman Fire around noon. Asking for a deputy to escort me over there. Wife left a text message saying she hopes Im not mad for what Ive done to the house or my car.
6:18 p.m., Coventry Court, Auburn. Caller believes a couple hundred gallons of either diesel or kerosene spilled. Caller can smell it in an irrigation ditch running through the area. FYI at this time.
