VFW Hungarian Dinner
The VFW 9678 in Middlefield, just east of the post office, is having a Hungarian Dinner on Aug. 5 from 4-8 p.m. Presale tickets are $12 each.
Kiwanis Fish Fry
The East Geauga Kiwanis Fish Fry is April 5 and 19 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Middlefield Fire Department. Diners have a choice of fish or shrimp, fries or baked potato. Carryouts available.
Chamber Meeting
Middlefield Chamber of Commerce will have its next meeting at Cornerstone Bible Church Ministry Center, 15029 Enterprise Way, Middlefield, on April 9 at noon.
Guest speaker is Lori Gorrell, owner of True Colors Coaching and Consulting. She will be speaking on the topic of “One Powerful Tool for More Effective Communication at Work and Play.”
Meeting cost is $10 donation, which includes lunch. Cornerstone Bible Church will be making a donation to the Safety Committee.

Geauga Consumer Connection
Geauga Consumer Connection will be held May 8 from 4-7:30 p.m. at the Middlefield Market Pavilion on Nauvoo Road.
Vendor registration is taking place now.

The purpose of the event is to give consumers the opportunity to meet Geauga County business owners, ask questions, compare products and find out more about services available.
The show is free to attending consumers.
Huntsburg Grange Open House, Rummage Sale April 27
The Huntsburg Grange will hold an open house and rummage sale April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Huntsburg Town Hall.
Thank you for making the chili cook-off and Chinese auction a successful and fun event.
The free summer concerts begin on June 29 with the Boys are Back in the Bandstand Park from 6-8 p.m. There will be a special dedication at 5 p.m. of the June Strong Thurling Memorial Garden in the Band Stand Park. The concerts will all be held rain or shine. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the music, fun, raffle, cakewalk and food.
