Singing Angels Return Dec. 6
Celebrate the holidays with the Singing Angels concert Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Geauga Theater, 101 Water St. in Chardon. Tickets are $10.
More than 300 children, ages 6 to 18, take part in the arts and youth development group that performs more than 100 programs annually. Its mission is to engage youth from all communities in quality music and performing arts education that teaches teamwork, builds confidence and provides a foundation for life.

"A Christmas Carol" At GLTG
Geauga Lyric Theater Guild's production of �A Christmas Carol� opens on Nov. 30. This musical story tells of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man, who loves his money and work more than mankind. Scrooge�s deceased partner, Jacob Marley, warns that three ghosts will visit to show him his fate. As Scrooge soars through time, he realizes his ways and wishes to redeem himself on Christmas Morning.
The Christmas classic, with script by Terry Sedivy and Rory Swift adapted from the novel by Charles Dickens, music by Sarah Hamrick, Donald Dingman and Laura Christian, adapted and directed by Angela-Miloro Hansen, is sponsored by Chardon Smile Center.
The show will run Nov. 30 through Dec. 16. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; the Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, with a special rate of $10 for children 12 and under. For the best deal, it is not too late to consider purchasing a season pass.
The historic Geauga Theater is located at 101 Water St. in Chardon.

Cabaret Extravaganza Audition
Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory (FPAC) and Fairmount Dance Theatre (FDT) are scheduling auditions for their upcoming production, "In the Spotlight: A Fairmount Cabaret Extravaganza!"
Auditions will be held Dec. 10-11, with callbacks slated for Dec. 12 and performances Feb. 21-24, 2013.
The auditions and performances held at the Mayfield Village Civic Center, 6022 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Village.
In the Spotlight auditions are open to students ages 8 to 18.
To audition, each person must perform one or more of the following: 32 bars of a song, a one-minute monologue, or another talent he or she would like to showcase.
Two options for tuition packages are available: $100 for participation in the show or $150, which includes participation in the show as well as two tickets and a personalized message that will appear in the program.

Art From The Heart
Rescue Village will hold its third annual Art from the Heart holiday art show featuring nationally recognized local artists in a pop-up shop located at 28001 Chagrin Blvd. in Woodmere. The opening night party is Nov. 30 from 4-9 p.m. and will feature an art sale, artists raffle, adoptable animals, hors d'oeuvres, wine tasting and more. The art sale and adoptable animals continues on Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sponsored by Muddy Paw Wines, the event is free and open to the public with a portion of all art sales benefitting the homeless animals at Rescue Village. For information, call Katie Schlesinger, marketing and events coordinator, at 440-338-4819 ext. 19.
