Santa At The Theater
Visiting Santa Claus at the Geauga Theater on the Square in Chardon has become a holiday family tradition for many area residents. Santa will greet visitors of all ages from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 8.
In addition to giving Santa their Christmas list, children can make holiday crafts, decorate cookies, play games and enjoy hot chocolate. Participants will also be treated to holiday music by Cardinal High School's Cardinaires, who will be assisting Santa.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras for photos with Santa.

A Christmas Carol at GLTG
A Christmas Carol brings the spirit of the season to the Geauga Theater. This musical story tells of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man, who loves his money and work more than mankind. Scrooge's deceased partner, Jacob Marley, warns that three ghosts will visit to show him his fate. As Scrooge soars through time, he realizes his ways and wishes to redeem himself on Christmas Morning.
This unique version of the holiday classic was adapted for the Guild by Terry Sedivy and Rory Swift, with music by Sarah Hamrick, Donald Dingman and Laura Christian, and is directed by Angela Miloro-Hansen.
Sponsored by Chardon Smile Center in Chardon, the show runs through Dec. 16. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; the Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, with a special rate of $10 for children 12 and under.
The historic Geauga Theater is located at 101 Water St. in Chardon.
