No Vacant Tree: The Hole Story
Wildlife is everywhere once we open our eyes. No Vacant Tree: The Hole Story takes place Dec. 8 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Headwaters Park in Crystal Lake picnic area.
Tree cavities, fallen logs, thickets and holes in the ground all come into play when critters seek shelter, but this program will go beyond a simple real estate search. Discover some tips and tricks for determining who lives where and help search for telltale signs of the who's, what's, when's and where's in nature's drama of how wildlife copes with winter. Barren trees will make the hunt for critter homes a bit easier as participants make their way through the forest seeking animal signs past and present.
Registration is not required for this program. Dress for the weather. Binoculars will be available.
