The following is a sampling of the calls handled by the Geauga County Sheriff�s Office Nov. 9-15. In total, the sheriff�s office handled 352 calls during this seven-day period.
Citizen Dispute
Nov. 10
2:47 p.m., Sunshine Drive, Chardon. I got down and got all my leaves picked up. Now the neighbor�s leaves are all in my yard. Advice given.
5:28 p.m., Kinsman Road, Middlefield. Caller was assaulted by his wife. He locked himself in his car. Caller said she left the residence. Female has been drinking as well as the male. Dispute only; no evidence of violence or threats. The argument was over the female having an affair. Caller was given advice.
Nov. 12
8:09 a.m., Sunshine Drive, Chardon. Neighbor piled up the leaves and now they are blowing back in my yard. Complainant is in his 70s.
Juvenile Problem
Nov. 11
12:24 a.m., Aspen Hills Lane, Burton. Reporting underage drinking and drug party. Caller states a lot of kids she goes to school with are at this party. Caller states kids from the party are posting pictures of themselves with alcohol on Twitter and Instagram. Party is in the back of Aspen Hills development. UTL/GOA. All quiet. Unknown where the party is located.
Medical
Nov. 10
10:38 p.m., Main Market Road, Troy. Sixteen-year-old male unresponsive. Kids played a prank by throwing him into a dumpster. Kid hit his head while trying to get out. Doesn�t know what his name is or any other information. Not sure if these kids had been drinking. They think the male that pulled the prank may have been drinking. There are three nurses with him.
Suspicious
Nov. 10
8:27 a.m., Regents Way, Hambden. Walked the dog in the back yard and happened to look over at my neighbor�s and their large grill is turned upside down and all their lawn chairs are scattered all around. Haven�t seen anyone over there yet today. Caller was advised it may have been a bear.
Theft
Nov. 14
5:17 p.m., Ravenna Road, Chardon. Ordered a golf cart off of eBay. The shipping company that was hired to deliver it never arrived. Talking with the male that was to deliver it and all he is doing is giving excuses. This is a civil matter, caller was advised. Deputy will attempt to follow up with Saginaw, Mich., PD.
Threatening
Nov. 15
2:30 p.m., Madison Road, Huntsburg. Threatening messages reference a male that lives in Russell and company took their equipment yesterday. No crime committed. Just wanted it documented that a customer swore at them and stated they are �messing with the wrong person.�
Vandalism
Nov. 9
8:49 a.m., Thompson Road, Thompson. See principal for a window possibly shot out with BB gun. Deputy observed hole in classroom window that faces Thompson Road. BB?was located inside between windows. Unknonw when action occurred. No suspects or leads available. Principal needs incident on file.
