The following is a sampling of the calls handled by the Geauga County Sheriff's Office Feb. 8-14. In total, the sheriff's office handled 342 calls during this seven-day period.

Domestic Dispute

Feb. 8

4:34 p.m., Mayfield Road, Huntsburg. Caller states her parents aren�t letting her care for her infant daughter. Caller states her parents are alleging that she is slurring her words and refused to let her take the child because she may be on drugs. Caller is slurring her words, but denies any current drug use. She states she has used drugs in the past. Caller states she is on probation. Report for violation of parole to be sent to probation officer.

Drugs/Alcohol

Feb. 11

5:03 p.m., Moseley Road, Thompson. Caller came home and found his 26-year-old son dead, bleeding from the nose. Caller thinks he took, overdosed on pills, possibly on methadone.

Harassment

Feb. 13

6:21 p.m., Wye Road, Munson. Caller is being harassed by someone from Delaware over eBay. He continues to send messages regarding a failed eBay transaction. The messages are intimidating the caller. The male has her name, address, phone number and she is concerned. eBay suggested the caller file a police report. Report taken.

Info Report

Feb. 10

1:51 p.m., Merritt Road, Munson. Ten-year-old was physically and verbally assaulted by a parent from the other team. This occurred at The Pond last night.

Suspicious

Feb. 11

7:31 p.m., Main Market Road, Troy. Caller recently took her 13-year-old daughter�s phone and found that a 27-year-old male has been texting her inappropriate messages. Report to follow.

Feb. 13

1:03 p.m., Pearl Road, Hambden. Male got a call that was a scam. They said Publishers Clearinghouse ... he checked and it was not. They had his address and told him to go to Walmart and purchase a specific reloadable card and they would arrive at this residence at 3 p.m. Caller does not need to see anyone; just asking for a deputy to watch the house around that time. Checked area.

Threatening

Feb. 12

9:47 p.m., Ravenna Road, Claridon. Threatening call at the hospital. Individual wanted it documented that patient told him, �If his wife wasn�t holding him back, he�d kill him.�
