The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.
Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment again the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids marked as “Newbury Township Salt Storage Facility” will be received by the Newbury Township Board of Trustees during normal business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Tuesday thru Thursday until 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, and must be time and date stamped by the clerk in the Newbury Town Hall Office at 14899 Auburn Road, Newbury, Ohio 44065.

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Chardon Township Board of Trustees, c/o Joan Windnagel, Fiscal Officer, 9949 Mentor Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024 until 7:30 P.M. official local time on July 24, 2014, for The Cement Stabilization and Asphalt Paving of Roryanna Drive (TR 930) and Glenmora Drive (TR 931) in Chardon Township, Geauga County. Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at 7:30 P.M. the same day at the Chardon Town Hall. The Engineer’s estimate for this project is $430,000.00.
