Two Busted in Bainbridge For Drug Trafficking
Two men were arrested last Thursday in Bainbridge Township on drug trafficking charges following a joint undercover investigation between the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office and Geauga County Prosecutor’s Office.
Brandon Smith, 25, of 16689 Medina St., Bainbridge Township, and Lydell Williams, 35, of 450 Turney?Rd., Apt. 1006, Bedford, were taken into police custody at 5:30 p.m. after they allegedly sold suspected cocaine to an undercover sheriff’s detective, said Lt. Scott Niehus from the Geauga Count Sheriff’s Office in a statement.
Smith was charged with one count of drug trafficking, a fourth-degree felony. Williams was charged with one count of complicity to drug trafficking, a fourth-degree felony.
Both men were arraigned Friday morning in Chardon Municipal Court. Judge Terri Stupica set their bond at $25,000 each,?Niehus said.
They will be bound over to the Geauga County Grand Jury, Niehus said.
