Alexander P. Nameth
A Mass of Christian Burial for Alexander P. Nameth, 88, will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson Township.
Mr. Nameth died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Hospice of the Western Reserve. He was a long time resident of Thompson.
Alex was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II. He fought as part of the 104th Infantry Division Timberwolves during the Battle of the Bulge.
He worked as a factory worker for 40 years at Diamond Alkali Company and later as a postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
A parishioner of St. Patrick Church for many years, Alex was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth (nee Horvath) and Alex S. Nemeth; and brother, Elmer J.
Burial with Military Honors will be held in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
