MIDDLEFIELD – Emma Yoder (nee Mast), 96, of Middlefield, entered eternal rest Saturday morning, Aug. 16, 2014, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Aug. 7, 1918, to the late Jacob S. and Mattie (nee Detweiler) Mast.
She is now reunited with her loving husband of 65 years, Albert S. Yoder.
Emma was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She will be missed by her children, Marvin Yoder, Albert (MaryAnn) Yoder Jr., Barbara (Allan) Miller, Martha (Ray) Stutzman, Elma (Bill) Fisher, Sadie (Paul) Troyer, Sara (Ray) Miller and Roy (Arlene) Yoder; daughter-in-law, Sarah (Menno) Miller; siblings, Nancy Wengerd and Noah Mast; 51 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 220 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons Elmer (Sarah) and an infant son; and daughter Bertha.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 18 at Jerry A. Miller’s residence, 17188 Newcomb Road, Middlefield, with Bishop Wayne H. Weaver officiating.
Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
Emma’ final resting place will be in Yoder Cemetery, Parkman Township.
